Manfredonia E-Bike Tour

Discover Manfredonia and its surroundings in a sustainable, fun and relaxing way with a fascinating guided e-bike tour. This experience is designed for everyone thanks to the mostly flat route, allowing you to cycle effortlessly while fully enjoying the landscapes, history and authentic flavors of Puglia. The tour starts from Regiohotel Manfredi, surrounded by the peaceful countryside of the Gargano area. From here we begin cycling along a charming rural road typical of Puglia, lined with traditional dry-stone walls and agricultural landscapes that reflect the authentic identity of the region. We will reach the historic center of Manfredonia, passing by its most iconic landmarks: the Cathedral of San Lorenzo Maiorano, patron saint of the city, and the impressive Swabian-Angevin Castle, which dominates the city skyline and preserves centuries of history. Leaving the town center, we will move toward the marina area, passing by the tourist harbor, one of the liveliest areas of the city, before continuing toward the surrounding countryside. Here one of the most enjoyable moments of the tour awaits: a cheese tasting at a local dairy farm with its own production. You will have the opportunity to taste a variety of traditional cheeses and discover the authentic flavors of the local gastronomic tradition. We will then continue our e-bike ride toward the Laguna del Re Oasis, a fascinating natural area where nature takes center stage. This habitat is ideal for birdwatching, hosting more than one hundred species of birds throughout the year. The next stop brings us to the evocative Basilica of Siponto, located in the Siponto Archaeological Park, where we will admire the extraordinary artistic installation created by Edoardo Tresoldi: a monumental wire-mesh reconstruction of the ancient early Christian basilica that beautifully blends archaeology, contemporary art and landscape into a unique visual experience. The tour will conclude cycling along the coast and the seaside promenade of Manfredonia, accompanied by the sea breeze and beautiful views over the gulf. Returning to Regiohotel Manfredi will be the perfect moment to relax and refresh with a break at the hotel bar, ending the experience in total comfort and relaxation.
