Tour begins with the visit of the main attractions, crossing the characteristic narrow streets of the historic center, discovering the majestic Piazza del Duomo, one of the most beautiful in Italy, and the monumental entrance to the city, Porta Napoli. The fascinating Basilica of Santa Croce, which reveals the artistic development of Lecce Baroque and Piazza Sant'Oronzo, where among historic palaces and churches we will discover the Roman vestiges of the Roman amphitheater, are part of the tour too.
Tour ends at Mr. Claudio's workshop where we will learn the procedure for making traditional papier-mâché and discover the secrets of the renowned workshop, one of the most ancient in the city. During the workshop, with the help of the master, we will make a real small statue to take home as a souvenir.
