Olive Oil Mill Tour: From Ancient to Modern

Experience an authentic and immersive journey into the heart of Apulia's olive oil tradition.

The experience includes a guided tour of either a traditional farmhouse (masseria) or an olive grove, where you will have the opportunity to discover the history and culture of Apulian olive growing. Along the way, you will learn about the different olive varieties, cultivation techniques, and the entire extra virgin olive oil production process, from harvesting the olives to oil extraction at the mill.

The tour concludes with a guided tasting of four freshly pressed extra virgin olive oils, accompanied by a selection of authentic handmade Apulian specialties, including homemade taralli, brined olives, seasonal crudités, friselline, focaccia, and a traditional Apulian dish such as cialledda or crudaiola, all paired with a glass of local wine.
